I thought the standard deduction for two this year was $24,000. Did this not go into effect for 2017 taxes?

How do I pay the 668.  Can only write a check.

The new tax law increasing standard deduction does not take effect until 1/1/2018. For the taxes that you are filing now for 2017 will have the 2017 standard deduction rate.

To pay your balance due, you will be able to print off a payment voucher and mail it in with your payment. Checks are an acceptable form to pay your balance due.

Make sure your payment is made on or before 4/17/2018

Are you going to send me the forms so I can put my check with them?
