I think my x mother in law claimed my kids as dependents this year but I used turbo tax so since the state and federal rejected my taxes and I have to send them in by mail do I still have to pay turbo

Yes you do.  The fee for using TurboTax is for using the software.  E-filing is not an extra fee.  The fee is the same whether you e-file or put it in an envelope and mail it.

Ok can I go back into my taxes and file different like drop my dependents?

Why would you do that?  Who is the person who should be claiming the children--you or your MIL?
