I still need to file my 2021 return. I purchased the software online for $80 but I can't find the download to start my return. How do I find my download?

Find your TurboTax for Windows software download

We recommend downloading your TurboTax for Windows software to your desktop or the Downloads folder so you can find it easily.

If you can't locate it, here's how to search for the download:

• TurboTax federal programs (Basic, Deluxe, etc.): Search your PC for w_turbotax and look for the filename extension .exe
• TurboTax state: Search for w_state (replace state with the actual state name, for example w_ohio or w_new_york).

Still can't find it? Then download it again and save it to your desktop or the Downloads folder.

How do I download my software from TurboTax.com?

Once you’ve received an order confirmation for your purchase, follow these instructions to download your TurboTax software:

1. Go to Access my downloads and sign in with the same user ID you used to purchase your software
2. On Your TurboTax account, select the Downloads tab
3. Select the version you want to download and save it somewhere on your computer where you can find it
