You most likely need to delete the W-2 information entirely and enter the 1099-NEC as an independent contractor (i.e., self-employed). You may need to upgrade your version of TurboTax.

can i re-enter the amount of estimated taxes i reported paid for the extension i placed for this year as i have not completed it yet?
