I signed up for monthly installments to pay my taxes due. Do I need to mail anything?

While completing my return, the system stated that I needed to print a form and mail it.  I was unable to bring it up at the time, but the form appears to be in my completed return.  I included information in my return for the monthly amount to be removed from my checking account on a particular date each month.  Do I still need to mail a form?

If you installment plan has not yet been approved, then you would need to make the initial installment by the due date of the return.

It can take up to 30 days for the IRS to accept your installment plan. Make payment directly on the IRS website link below.
