I set up an autopayment to pay my taxes and the initial payment to be taken out hasn’t gone through. Is something wrong ? When will they start the autopayments

No worries! As long as you selected April 15,2019 or earlier as your payment date, you won't get penalized for late payment. There may be a delay due to high e-filing volume. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3299924
