I said to put $100 against 2018 but I don't want to do that and now can't erase. 2016 $100 applied to 2017 not showing either
I put $100 against 2017 taxes for MT and I don't see that credit in the analysis. In addition, I also put $100 towards taxes in 2018 but I don't want to do that again and now I can't erase. How do I start over or clear the information? How do I get the $100 applied to 2017 MT taxes to show so I can get the full refund?

First, please use these steps to see if your $100 refund from 2016, is being applied to the 2017 state return. This will be completed in the federal section
- Using the search box, type estimated tax payments > Jump to estimated tax payments
- Scroll to 2016 refund applied to the 2017 state taxes
- Select start or update - if the $100 isn't there you can add it here
Next, while you are in your state return preparation you will have a question about whether you want to apply any of your refund to the 2018 return. Step through the questions in the State Taxes tab until you see this question to change your answer. Near the end of the state interview questions, you will be asked if you want to "Apply refund to your 2018 taxes".
