Thanks Dave for your response. I already had my state return started. So, I went back into it. I get to the end of the review for my state return and I'm still getting the same message screen with the following....
I still don't think it's been updated fully with Ohio's changes to allow for the unemployment deduction of $10,200.
If there a way I can have someone actually take a look at my account?
Thanks again for your help!
Brian
I'm getting the same message. I received an email telling me it's time to file, but I can't get past that page.
In order for Ohio taxpayers to not pay Ohio state income taxes on their first $10,200 of unemployment benefits, it was necessary for Gov. Mike DeWine to approve a bill to authorized that change in the law. That bill was signed on Wed, March 31 and TurboTax is being changed to allow the state income tax return to go through with the correct numbers.
The changes should be implemented soon and then your Ohio return will be able to e-file.
Wait a few days, then use a browser. Clear browser data to beginning of time before signing into TurboTax. Review your federal and state returns and then e-file.
