I received an email from Turbotax stating that the 1040X was ready but when I try and do anything it says its not available??

It is suppose to be available sometime today, you might try signing out and then signing back in to see if that updates the form.

The 2018 Form 1040-X should now be available in TurboTax Online. 

If you are still unable to access it, try logging out and then logging back into your account as bluedeb suggested above.
