I received a message stating one or more of my returns cannot be e-file while tying to transmit amended return. Please help! I want to e-file and not waste 300+ pages

Amended returns are not yet available for 2022 federal taxes. The finalized forms and instructions are expected from the IRS by February 23, 2023.  However, you should wait until your return has been accepted, and you have received any refund you are expecting before amending. You can use the link below for updates.

Ok ... since you must be using the downloaded 2021 return you should click on the PRINT CENTER option and choose to print  JUST my tax  return  (first option )   and not the +300 pages of worksheets that go along with it.

Sorry ... I had not looked at the downloaded version for a while ... click on FILE in the upper corner then click PRINT  then the first option ...
