I received a bonus reported as rent under a Pooling Order issued by the OK Corporation Commission. How should this bonus be reported?

Would such a bonus be correctly reported as rent or should the company that paid the bonus have reported it as a royalty payment. I do not own the land involved, only the mineral rights associated.
