I received a bonus last year and turbotax is asking if I had anymore self employment monies. I'm not self employed.

I received a bonus last year and turbotax is asking if I had anymore self employment monies. I'm not self employed.
Are you a W-2 employee? Employee bonuses are supposed to be included in the employee's W-2. If your employer mistakenly reported it on a 1099-MISC, enter the 1099-MISC in the Other Common Income section of TT. One of the follow-up questions in that section will ask about "uncommon situations." One of the choices will be that your employer reported income on a 1099-MISC that should have been reported on a W-2. Select that choice and proceed from there.
