Income reported on 1099-Misc, box 7 "Nonemployee compensation" is considered income from self-employment and must be reported on Schedule C of your Form 1040 return.

Do I still have to file a tax return (federal or State of WV) if I've only received non-taxable workers' compensation (no other income) ?
