I receive Social Security & work part time as an independent contractor. Do I need the Self-Employed Turbotax version or will Deluxe handle it?

Using the TurboTax desktop editions, Schedule C is included in all editions, including Deluxe.

When entering your self-employment income and expenses using the Deluxe desktop edition the program will prompt you to upgrade to the Home and Business edition.  However this is only a Recommendation and Not a Requirement.

Using the TurboTax online editions you must upgrade to Self-Employed to enter self-employment income and expenses on Schedule C.
