I purchased turbo tax online and have a code. I need to file a second (new) return. How do I get this done?

Did you buy a code for the Online version or the Desktop Download program?  Where did you buy it?  Some stores are selling both this year.  The Online code is only good for 1 account and 1 return.

You can start another return in TurboTax Online by:
Logging out if you are in your account
Choose what TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return

Create your account screen
Set up a new login for the second return
Start working on the new return

There is no code for using the TurboTax online editions.  If you have a 16 digit license code that is only used with the TurboTax desktop software you purchased.  The license code is entered during the installation of the software on a personal computer.

To start another tax return using the TurboTax online editions you have to create a new account with a new User ID and a new email address.
