I purchased Turbo Tax CD's , the laptop that doesn't have a CD Drive and I can't find the license numbers on any of them, is there another way to obtain it?

I need to access tax returns from 2012-2015, but I don't have a CD Drive to download the software for those years. I am missing License numbers for all of those years. Is there another way to obtain them?

There are no license numbers for tax years prior to 2019.   They began using license numbers with 2019.   Before that there was no number.   If you purchased the CD/download for those prior years you can try downloading them from your downloads.   But---there is no support for those years nor can you get updates for them.

if the .taxXXXX files are not on the computer they are gone forever since Turbotax does not get copies of tax files prepared on desktops.  the IRS also only keeps copies of returns for 6 years.  to make sure that you have copies of the returns as filed, save them as a PDF.  since drives and computers crash, I also recommend keeping a PDF copy offline on a thumb drive,
