When is the version 2021 turbo tax available for download?

The CD/download for 2021 returns has been available for weeks.

When you use desktop software, there is an additional fee to e-file a state return. You can avoid that fee if you print, sign and mail the state return. The state e-file fee is $19.99 and increases in March.

TurboTax Online and the download TurboTax software are two different products. It's not clear what you actually purchased. If you purchased TurboTax Online you don't get, and don't need, a download. If you purchased a download, you don't use it online.

If you are using TurboTax Online, the 2021 version is online now. When you sign in you will be in the 2021 version. If you purchase the download software, you have to purchase the download for the specific year that you want. xmasbaby0 gave you a link where you can purchase the 2021 download.
