I printed and sent off my returns by mail. Will I get an update o this site when they have been received and processed?

No, you will not see any update on the TT site if you mailed your tax return. TurboTax has no way to know that you put your return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox. Once you file, TurboTax receives no further updates from the IRS. About 4 weeks after you mail a tax return. you can check the status on the IRS site:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds
