It depends.
If it was used for direct deposit on your 2019 tax return, then yes, the IRS will use that information to deposit your stimulus payment.
If you had to pay taxes with your return, then I recommend you visit the following IRS website portal which will be opening in a few days. This website will allow you to update your banking information so the stimulus payment is sent to your most updated account.
I went to the IRS page and chose Get My Payment. I put all the info in and it says Payment status not available. I pay taxes yearly on my pension but I don't make near the 75,000. Why have I not received my Stimulus? I can't go on and update my bank information anywhere and yet they get the taxes I owe out of that same bank account. Please help!!
