I paid turbotax $130 for my 2022 taxes and they never filed them and they wont connect me to an agent

the help system on their site is terrible and turbotax is a scam

Paying your fee did not file your tax return.

Did you e-file?  Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”

 What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”

If you did not e-file successfully, you will need to print, sign and mail in your tax return.  E-filing is closed for 2022.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

I had filed on April 18th 2023 and I was going through my emails they had sent a email in July and I never seen it but it took them 3 months to send a email regarding that it wasn’t finished so not only did they wait 60 days or more until I couldn’t get a refund they wait 3months to tell me after filing I wasn’t finished even tho I paid and got the confirmation

@aiden-ouellette Sorry----but that was a user error.   TurboTax never files it for you.   That you paid no attention to your emails....is also your own error.    You did not go all the way through and e-file.  All you can do now is file it by mail.   

Going forward-------

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
