Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I overpaid in Federal and State taxes during January 2022, and I was and I am still only a part-time worker, with low-income and full-time student. I paid almost $1000!

Please can a Turbotax customer service employee call me back, and speak with me regarding this issue.
A case was opened last year, and no one helped me solve it. I overpaid.

What?  I don't understand you post at all.  Please explain more.  Are you expecting a refund  on your 2021 return?

Yes, that is what I need. A refund. Why isn't there an Intuit number to call?

Look at your 2021 return.  Does it show a refund on line 35a?  If the IRS changed your return they will send you a letter.  Turbo Tax can't help with getting your refund.  You have to ask the IRS about it.  A lot of people answered the questions wrong last year and the IRS had to adjust their refunds.

Was your 2021 returns Accepted?  When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?

How to Access prior year online returns
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/00/270...

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2022 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2022. I had to go though about 12 screens.

Here's how to view, download, and print your prior-year returns. You can access returns for the past seven years.

If this is your first time signing in:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account and continue through your prior-year summary.
  2. Make sure you're using the same TurboTax account (user ID) as in prior years
  3. Scroll down and select Your tax returns & documents
  4. Select the year you want.
  5. Then select Download/print return (PDF)

If You’ve started your return already

Sign in to your TurboTax account. Make sure you're using the same TurboTax account (same user ID) as in previous years.

There are two ways to get your prior-year returns.

  1. Select Documents from the side menu,
  2. Use the dropdown menu to choose the tax year you want, and select Download tax PDF
  3. From Tax Home, scroll down and select Your tax returns & documents
  4. Select the year you want and select Download/print return (PDF)
  5. If the year you're looking for isn't there, it might be in a different account.
  6. Go here to find all of your accounts. One of them should have the return you're looking for.

How do I access my prior-year return in TurboTax Online or in the mobile app?

How do I find last year's tax data file (.tax file) on my computer?
