@nkkauffold What type of assistance do you need? TurboTax Live is only for the current tax year. 2018 closed in November, so TurboTax Live agents will be unable to view your 2018 return. The current tax year is now 2019. 

 

However, you can switch from TurboTax Online to our TurboTax Desktop product and a general phone agent can assist you in navigating through the product.

Thanks.  It was for a previous year return, so I don't see how to access the live help from the previous return.

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

@bobsacard Are you trying to transfer your 2019 data to a new 2020 return?  You have to do that transfer at the very beginning before you enter any 2020 information and you have to be in exactly the same account and user ID that you used for 2019.

 

  You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

 

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.
