There may be more to the story that will affect the answer.   What's the situation with the Federal return?   Did you already file the Federal with TurboTax, and if efiled, has it been accepted?   Or did you prepare and file it elsewhere, or don't need to file it at all?

Most, if not all, states require that the Federal return be e-filed and accepted to allow e-filing of its return.
