I only want to file Federal and not state. It's not goving me the option. How do I proceed with federal only

As long as you haven't already paid for your state return (or registered if using a free version), you may delete your state tax return from TurboTax Online.

To delete a state tax return from TurboTax Online:

• Open (continue) your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
• Click State Taxes (near the top of your screen), then click Your State Returns. (Click the first screenshot below for reference.)
• You'll see the Status of your state returns. Click Delete next to the entry for your state. (Click the second screenshot below for reference.)
• You'll be prompted to Confirm Deletion of State Return. Click Yes. (Click the third screenshot below for reference.)
• TurboTax will delete the state tax return from your account. (Click the fourth screenshot below.)
