I only made $280.00 from a side job. Do I still need to file taxes for it and how?

If that is your only income, you do not need to file.

If there are income taxes taken out and you want to get the money back, then yes, you will need to file to get the money back. See below to file and make sure you do NOT claim yourself as a dependent if someone else is going to.
