If your only income was Social Security you were not required to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance. And unless you had tax withheld from your Social Security benefits, you would not receive an income tax refund.
Who has to file?

What didn't you receive? Are you expecting a tax refund? You have to file a tax return to get any refunds. If you only get SSDI it is not taxable and you don't have to file a return and only can get a refund if you had federal withholding taken out of SSDI.
