I never got my taxes from last year not sure why I need to do different this year to make sure it doesn’t happen again?

I got a letter to verify my identity and did so online I talk to a guy over video chat he told me there was no more steps. I’ve done it it was confirmed but when I check to see where my refund is, it says it’s still being processed I don’t know what I should do differently this year to make sure I get it and is it an option to even get my taxes from last year still I have no idea what to do.

That is an IRS process and has no bearing on which tax preparation service you used.

did your verification set up an account online with the IRS.?

log on to your account to see your refund in your account.

you can also use "Where's my refund" page at IRS.gov to see your refund status.

Great information by DoninGA above.  The Taxpayer Advocate Office is there for situations like this.

TurboTax is not involved in the IRS process and cannot see what's going on or interfere  in the process.  However, you will still get that refund.  IRS processing has been delayed since COVID Stimulus check processing.
