It is impossible to get ahold of a live person on Turbo Tax....aggravating!!!
I am trying to get info regarding my fathers account. He passed in 2021 and I filed his final return earlier this year...but yet I continue to get emails for him from Turbo Tax regarding the filing of a 2022 return. I would like to know why he is getting these emails...and if there is something else I need to do. When I filed his final return I did indicate he was deceased...so I am not sure why the system is expecting another return.
@aascalise_24 - TT marketing department wouldn't be smart enough to know that he passed as it is unlikely that information is transfered from the tax return to TT's marketing database.
On the bottom of the emails, is there an option to unsubscribe from future emails? just go that way if it is available, otherwise, can you sent up a rule in your email software to mark the email as spam, so that you won't see it anymore? both options are probably easier than calling TT directly.
Yes...I am convinced their staff does not want to talk to anyone...as the phone process is insanely frustrating...and just goes in circles.....customer service at its absolute worst!!!
