I need to file taxes for my sister who passed away in 2016. Can I do this using my turbo tax or do I need to set up a new account for her?

you can set up a new return for your sister's return using the same program & account that you used for your tax return.  I do 5 different returns myself.  Just go to the pulldowns at the top of turbo tax...select "file" & then " new tax return".  this will bring up a screen which gives you the choice to import a previous return or start from scratch.  i assume that you will not be importing, so click on the blue "Start a New Return" button
