I need to file taxes for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Do I have to file the four years prior to 2019, in order to get a stimulus check?

No. 

The stimulus check is anticipated to be based off your information from your 2018 and 2019 income tax returns.

Specific guidance has not been provided as far as how the stimulus checks will be sent out.

Yes, you can file for 2018 and 2019 without having filed the earlier years. However, it is possible that something on one or more of the earlier tax returns would affect your 2018 or 2019 tax return.
