I need to change something on my Alabama tax return that was rejected

At the Tax Home look for a link to "Add a State." That doesn't really add one but will open the return interview back up. Once open, go to the State Taxes tab to go through the state return interview again. Go through the whole state return, since any change in it can potentially have a ripple effect. Then run the Review at the end to be sure all is good, then proceed to repeat the efile.

NOTE: If the Federal return was accepted, then do not make any changes in the Federal return. If you have to change something on the Federal side, it would have to be done with an amended return and has to start off exactly as filed.
