I need tech support to call me. I have a paid edition and I can't import my last years turbo tax returns maybe I can't file this way?

you do not import.  upon starting 2019, and assuming you're in the same a/c used for 2018, at the very start there's an option to transfer last year's data.  this must be done at the start and can not be done unless your in the same a/c.
