If you have not yet filed your tax return, you can make the change by following the instructions below:

• Sign into your Online account and select Take me to my return.
• Select My Info in the left side panel.
  
• Scroll down to the dependent's name and select Edit.
  
• Follow the onscreen instructions until you reach the question that asks How many months did (child) live with you in 2017? make the changes and continue to complete your tax return.
