I mistakenly picked the self-employed option. I am not self-employed, but do have 2 1099 forms. Can Turbo tax reconfigured my return using the deluxe package.

If payment for services you provided is listed in box 7 of Form 1099-MISCMiscellaneous Income, the payer is treating you as a self-employed worker, also referred to as an independent contractor.

If you are only reporting the income and will not be deducting any expenses, then TurboTax Deluxe will be able to handle these forms. However, if you will be deducting expenses, you will need to use the Self-Employed version.

If you are currently in the Self-Employed and would like to downgrade back to Deluxe, the only way to do this is to clear and start over.

Are they 1099-MISC?
