I mistakenly added my wife's income under my name/SSN on form w-2.

I tried to amend and it says that form 8888 amounts for direct deposit does not match.

Remove the form 8888 on an amended return ... it cannot be used.   In the FILE tab in the program simply choose to mail in the return and get the refund (if any) as a paper check (only option on a 1040X).

Thank you for the quick reply! I removed all of the information on the form 8888. I owe quite a bit more on Fed but got a little back on State.
