I missed typed the account number for my payment. The account had insufficient funds to pay my tax due. How can I refile my return and make the correct payment?

You cannot re-file a tax return that has been accepted by the IRS.

You can pay the taxes owed using the IRS payment website with Direct Pay - https://www.irs.gov/payments

The IRS will send you a notification of the failed payment ... watch for it.
