You can check the status of your tax return on the Where's My Refund site by clicking on the following link: https://www.irs.gov/Refunds

You will be able to check the status of your refund based on how you filed. To see when your return should show up on the Where's My Refund site, please see the information below:

Within 24 hours after we've received your e-filed tax return; or

4 weeks after mailing your paper return.
