I mailed my returns a month ago and still my profile says " ready to mail"

That's because the program has no way to know that you actually filed the returns by mail. You can check here:

Turbo Tax will always say Ready to Mail.  They don't know if or when you actually mailed it and the IRS and state don't tell Turbo Tax when they get mailed returns.

After 4 weeks you can start checking IRS Where's my refund
