If you are only a resident of one state, the interest earned would be claimed in that one state.

Thanks for the quick response! I have added all my states, put the resident state last - but it never asks me about my interest income (no place to report it). Do you know what the problem might be?

You should enter it as "Other Income" Which is the screen that follows "State Wages". Do you see those screens in the state interview?
