I made less than the standard deduction across 2 w2s and thought my refund would be larger. It seemed I had no taxable income.

Yes, if you earned less than your standard deduction, you have no taxable income and are not required to file. You would only file to get back your withholding. If you are between ages 25 and 65, you may qualify for a small Earned Income Credit.

Yes, if you earned less than your standard deduction, you have no taxable income and are not required to file. You would only file to get back your withholding. If you are between ages 25 and 65, you may qualify for a small Earned Income Credit.
