I found with y'all a long time ago for my disability taxes

If your only income is SSI, you do not need to file a federal tax return. Texas does not have a state income tax so there is no return to file.

Or......do you mean that your only income was Social Security disability? If Social Security was your only income you are not required to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance.
