I’m trying to file for Alaska not for North Carolina. It keeps getting rejected and won’t let me change to Alaska.

Alaska does not have a personal income tax so there is not an Alaska state income tax return to file.

Alaska has no state income tax, so there is nothing to file for Alaska. How is North Carolina involved? Did you also live and/or work in NC?
