The best place to get this number is from your originally-filed 2016 federal tax return.
However, since you filed using Turbo Tax last year, if you are using the same exact username as last year, you should be able to access your previous tax return, which should have the AGI.
Please note:
You won’t find last year’s AGI on:
- Your W-2 or 1099 form. (Although these forms may show your total income for the year, they don't include all the information needed to calculate your AGI.)
- The internet (including TurboTax AnswerXchange).
- Unemployment papers.
- Any official-looking document other than your 2016 tax return or an official IRS copy or transcript.
