I'm trying to file 2016 taxes. All the questions are for 2017. What do I need to do?

The TurboTax online editions are only for tax year 2017.

To complete a 2016 tax return using TurboTax you will need to purchase and download one of the 2016 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2016 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

Have you entered anything into online yet?  You should clear it out to do your 2017 return later.
