I'm trying to download and open my 2019 extension PDF. It fails and won't open. When I try to open in a different app, it says "file corrupted." How do I get hard copy?

Simple question: How do I get a hard copy of my extension? Windows 10, PC, but won't save a non-corrupt copy. Everything else works on the computer.

If you used the ONLINE program to file the extension then log in and use the print center to save the PFD with the worksheets to see the extension form ... you may need to pay for the 2019 program and/or register it before accessing the PDF.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

Other things to try:

1) make sure you first download the file to your hard drive ...never directly to a USB attached flash drive.

2)  Make sure it has the ".pdf" extension on the file.   And make sure you are using a PDF file reader to open it.

3)  Try a different browser.

4)   Try a different family member's computer, then copy the downloaded file form that computer to a usb flash drive to move it to yoru computer
