I'm trying to amend a return and it says that I need to download turbo tax desktop. But when I got everything it says windows is not supported. Help

I want to amend, I went through the whole process to get a code for the download and get my .tax file only for it to say Windows is not supported.

What kind of device are you trying to download the software to?  You cannot use the CD/download on a phone, an iPad or any kind of mobile device.   It has to be a full PC or Mac.

A "full PC" can be either a laptop or a desktop style computer. It just needs the complete operating system found on a PC.

Yes----a laptop may be just fine.   But not a Chromebook.
