I'm still waiting on a portion of my return from last year due to me answering a question wrong. Is that something I fix on this year return or is it in federals hands

You do not enter on a federal tax return any federal tax refunds received.  So any additional refund is still waiting on the IRS.

No it does not go on your 2022 return this year.  It is between you and the IRS.  What was wrong?   Did you send in an amended return to fix it?  Maybe the IRS already adjusted your return and you are not getting anymore.  That happened to a lot of people who answered the Stimulus questions wrong.
