I'm still waiting for 1099 INT, can I continue with the former and come back to edit later?

Yes, you can skip sections and come back to them later. However, be sure to complete the federal section (including your 1099-int) before moving onto the states. To get back to the interest section, follow the below steps:

• Login and click 'Take me to my return'
• Select the 'Federal Taxes' tab and then click the 'Wages & Income' tab below it
• If you have the blue button 'Check for more income' click it and then click 'Skip to see all income'
• Scroll down to 'Interest and Dividends' and click the blue hyperlink 'Show more' 
• Click 'Start' or 'Update/Revisit' next to 'Interest on 1099-INT'
• Answer through the questions and you'll be able to enter form
