I'm ready to file my return but want to download a copy. Can I do that after filing or do I need to do that beforehand?

You can do that after you have paid the TurboTax account fees or you have filed the federal tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
