I'm moving from a Mac to Windows 10. My 2015 TT return is on the Mac, my 2016 TT is on the WIndows machine. How do I get TT on Windows to read the 2015 file?

Just copying the file from the mac book to the windows machine does not enable windows TT to recognize it.
